Being a psychologist, I very often receive the questions whether it is better to educate your children at home with the help of the on-line program or at school. It is very difficult to answer this question, because all the children are different and what is good for one child, may be bad for the other one.

All the circumstances should be taken into account: for example, whether your child is healthy or not. Sometimes, when the child suffers from some serious diseases or is disabled one, it is better not to take him or her into the traditional school in order not to kill his or her self estimation at all. The children may be too cruel and sometimes it is better not to endanger your child.

However, from the other side, if your child suffers from the fact that he or she is not like other children, do not cultivate this though in him or her. Give him or her into the traditional school and give the opportunity to develop and to communicate with other children.

In order to answer correctly, whether it is better to give your child into the traditional school or it is better to make a member of the on-line educational program, the medical report is not enough. I recommend to appeal to the children psychologist and even to the psychotherapist, if it is needed, and only after the conversation with your child, he or she will give you the advice whether to take your child to school, or it is better not to.

Education at home has won a great success with the public and it is not difficult to understand why. The first reason is the convenience of such kind of education. You do not have the fixed time when you have to end up with your high school education. You may do it for that very period of time, which is convenient to you. You do not have to spend hours of study in order to receive the education; all you have to do is not to forget to switch on your computer from time to time and from the comfort of the room to make all the necessary assignments.

If you are engaged into the home education, it does not mean that you are deprived of the help, advices, and support. With the help of mailing and e-mailing, you are welcome to contact with your tutor and to receive all the answers.

Education at home is a great way out for the disabled people. They do not have to trouble themselves to visit classes. All they have to do is to educate simply sitting at home.

In conclusion, it should also be mentioned that it does not matter at all whether you have received your education at school or at home with the help of high school on-line program; the diplomas are the same.
